Have you ever wondered why there are different Body Glide products and which one is right for you?  You are not alone.  In fact, one of the most common questions we get is – what are the differences between the products?  Below you can find the answer to your question.

Body:

Body is the original Body Glide product.  It has been trusted, around the world, for over 20 years and continues to offer great rubbing, chafing, and blister protection.  Made with plant-based ingredients Body will keep you chafe and blister free.
The Body formula is the base for all of our anti chafing/anti blister sticks.

For Her:

No, we did not just pink it and shrink it and call the same exact formula “For Her”.  Instead, we started with Body (blue stick) as the base and added in coconut and sweet almond oils.  These two ingredients help moisturize and protect the skin.  Great for sensitive skin.
Coconut (Cocos Nucifera) Oil – Nourishes, moisturizes, conditions, and soothes skin to help support overall skin health.
Sweet Almond (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) Oil – Helps maintain moisture levels in the skin without blocking pores.   Rich in vitamins A, B, and E to promote skin health.

Foot:

This anti blister balm starts with the same great base formula as Body then adds in Apricot Oil and Comfrey Leaf Extract.  Both added ingredients help condition feet and can help reduce inflammation.
Apricot Kernel (Prunus Armeniaca) Oil – Its fatty acids help to nourish dry skin while its vitamins help rejuvenate skin’s softness and elasticity.  Apricot Kernel Oil is an emulsifier that strengthens the skin’s barrier function while, at the same time, helps soften skin.  It is used to relieve itching, dryness, and inflammation.
Comfrey (Symphytum Officinale) Leaf Extract – Known to treat skin ulcers, joint inflammation and bruises.

Cycle:

Cycle starts with the same formula as Body and adds in Provitamin B5 and a light minty fragrance.
Provitamin B5 – Known to protect the skin from losing moisture, without blocking pores, in order to improve skin softness and elasticity.  It also acts as a natural skin healer and protector which can offer relief from itchiness and pain, and reduce redness.

Outdoor:

Outdoor has the same great scent-free formula as Body.  The difference with Outdoor is the packaging.  For a customer who wants more subdued coloring, but the same great protection, Outdoor is the answer.

Skin:

Our only cream in the line, Skin gets to the hard to reach places that a stick won’t easily go.  Skin is also for people who may better like the feel of a cream or who want to be able to easily share with a friend.

Now that you know the differences in the products, which one is your favorite?  Let us know in the comments below.

  1. S, you didn’t pink and shrink? Instead you just stuck to dumb stereotypes about what women can handle. We are so sensitive that we can’t handle the normal stuff? Not every woman has sensitive skin and needs pretty smells. Likewise, not every man has tough skin and hates pretty smells. If you feel this product is necessary, just say what it is on the label. It is your product for sensitive skin, gender doesn’t need to play a role.

    1. I was thinking the exact same thing…

As a man, it felt weird to me that they just decided that men don’t need to have the moisturized skin so they just made a pink version and called it “for her”.

I love my skin smelling nice and being moisturized and so does my girlfriend. There is absolutely no need to call the product “for her”. They could have just said anti chafe and moisturizing balm with scent.

  2. The ALL TIME BEST GLIDE EVER AWARD goes to RELIEF! I have multiple incurable autoimmune diseases. Most of them are muscle related. The worst of which is called Sjogren’s Disease. I discovered this product by accident and have since shared with my friends, family and more importantly with my Sjogren’s Foundation family, of which I am a member. You saved what little quality of life I have left. Thank you!
