Fall is here and, in many places, the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder and… wetter. For most, that means taking your runs inside, but for some that means running in the rain. While at first it seems daunting, running in the rain can be used as an opportunity to build your stamina, mental toughness, and also be an exhilarating change of pace to liven up your exercise routine.
These tips for rainy day runs can help you enjoy your run, Rain or Shine:

4. Make sure to be seen. As the days get shorter you may have to run in darker conditions. Wear a bright colored jacket so you can be more easily seen. Other options include wearing a reflective vest, or lights while you run.
5. Don’t forget about your feet. Wet feet are more prone to rubbing and blisters. Moisture wicking socks work wonders to keep your feet as dry as possible.
